Welcome to Burke Middle College!  I am Jeannie Jandrew and I am excited to be in my third year as the BMC Principal!  This year is going to be a great one and I look forward to the opportunities and new experiences it will hold. 

I am starting my 28th year in education. I have served at all levels from high school teacher, middle school assistant principal and principal, high school assistant principal, and elementary principal. I have had the pleasure to work in Burke County Public Schools for 13 of those years at Liberty Middle, Patton High, George Hildebrand Elementary, WA Young Elementary, and Table Rock Middle School.  I started my educational career as a high school English teacher in Catawba County  and am excited to work with high school students again. This year, I will serve as both the Burke Middle College Principal and be the North Carolina School of Science & Mathematics  (NCSSM) facilitator for BCPS. 

At BMC, we have a dedicated group of professionals who strive to see each student reach beyond his/her potential. Together, with your support, BMC students will continue to be successful!
